Westward, Yo – Day 4

Hope to make it to Tacoma by late afternoon. It might take another four days to wind down from this trek. But it’s been a good opportunity to transition from Michigan to Washington. Lots of time to think along the way.

And then, finally, I can get back to writing and editing.

Thanks to all of you who shared good wishes for the trip. It’s been great to read them at the end of each day.

  1. How much farther on is Tahoma than Tacoma? I don’t know that much about Washington State. Anyway, congratulations on having found another site of creative activity to make your center, and from what you’ve said before, one where you have friends and colleagues ready and waiting. I hope you are soon making yourself at home with wife and doggie Henry.

  2. I made the same trek back in the late 80s – went along for the ride with a friend who was moving from Cleveland to Seattle to try to get into the music business (the grunge band scene was just beginning to take root). It was such a memorable journey. I hope you’re home safe and sound, reunited with your wife and Henry.
