From the Shameless Marketing Department

For those of you in the Birmingham, MI area–I hope you’ll be able to join me on Monday, August 8 at the Lido Gallery. I’ll be reading my contest-winning short story, “How to Live at a Hotel,” as part of the Springfed Arts Summer Poetry and Fiction Series. 7 p.m., 33535 Woodward Ave., Birmingham. Admission is free. First round of drinks afterwards is on me. Hope to see a bunch of you there.

  2. I’ll do my best to be there. That way you’ll be obligated to show up if I ever win anything.

  3. That’s a deal, Jon, and one that I hope you hold me to someday.
